About Stefanie Rhaue

Born in Kitzingen/Main, Stefanie Rhaue studied musicology at the University of Würzburg and voice at the University of Music in Würzburg. Following engagements at Théâtre Royale de la Monnaie in Brussels, Städtische Bühnen Frankfurt, Würzburg, Pforzheim (1991–1997), and Passau (1997–2003), she has been a member of the ensemble at Theater Hof since 2003. In 2011, she received the Friends of Theater Hof Prize. Her most important roles have included Carmen, Rinaldo, Dorabella, Cherubino, Octavian (Der Rosenkavalier), Mère Marie (Dialogues of the Carmelites), The Gingerbread Witch (Hänsel und Gretel), and Pierrot Lunaire.
