About Minseok Kim
Born in South Korea, Minseok Kim studied singing at Kyungwon University in Seongnam and the Carl Maria von Weber University of Music in Dresden. In 2009, he was awarded First Prize at the International Antonín Dvoqák Competition in Karlsbad. Kim has been a permanent member of the ensemble at Theater Hof since 2017, following previous engagements at Staatsoper Stuttgart and Staatstheater Darmstadt (2011–2017). He has sung roles such as Elvino (La sonnambula), Orpheus (Orpheus and Eurydice), the Duke of Mantua (Rigoletto), and Jason (Medea).
