Martin Engler
About Martin Engler
Martin Engler studied at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin. He has been a member of the ensembles of the Maxim Gorki Theater Berlin (1995) and Theater Basel (2006–2009). He has worked in the state theaters of Nuremberg, Dresden, and Mainz, as well as with the Berliner Ensemble, Ultraschall Festival Berlin, Volkstheater Berlin, Schaubühne Berlin, the Dublin Theatre Festival, the Vienna Festival, and Théâtre des Célestins Lyon. Engler has directed and spoken in more than 200 Hörspiele and Features. As a vocal soloist, he has made recordings of works by Reimann, Liebermann, and Kagel with the DSO Berlin.
