About Rainer Mesecke

Born in Prenzlau, Rainer Mesecke studied at the University of Music and Theater in Hamburg. He has been a member of the ensemble at the Braunschweig State Theater since 2019. Previous engagements have included the Hamburg State Opera, Theater Hof (2017–2019), and the Kammeroper Schloss Rheinsberg. Mesecke has performed roles such as Daland (The Flying Dutchman), Sparafucile (Rigoletto), Rocco (Fidelio), Melisso (Alcina), and Roy Cohn (Angels in America).
