Franziska Rabl

About Franziska Rabl

Franziska Rabl was born in Munich and studied at the University of Music and Theater Munich. She was a member of the International Opera Studio in Zurich before accepting engagements at Theater Dortmund (2005–2008) and the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz in Munich (2010–2012). As a guest soloist, Rabl has performed in the opera houses in Lyon, Mannheim, Weimar, Leipzig, Erfurt, Aachen, Bielefeld, Chemnitz, and Hof. Among the roles she has sung are Carmen, Muse/Nicklausse (Tales of Hoffmann), Charlotte (Werther), Fricka (Das Rheingold), Brangäne (Tristan und Isolde), and the Composer (Ariadne auf Naxos).
