About Guido Klemisch
Guido Maria Klemisch studied recorder in Hanover and The Hague with Ferdinand Conrad and Frans Brueggen as well as baroque oboe with Ku Ebbinge. In 1974 he opened his own workshop for historical flute instruments. He was a founding member of Camerata Amsterdam (Baroque ensemble) and has participated in numerous concerts throughout Europe as well as in radio and CD recordings. In 2005 he founded the Berlin Klemisch Consort which devotes itself primarily to 16th-21st-century flute music. He wrote various documentations and publications on the history and construction of the recorder, including a research study commissioned by the Museum of Burg Sternberg (Lippe) in 2006 on the recorder consort construction in the 1920s and 1930s.Products
