About Maxi Kaun
Maxi Kaun studied clarinet with Prof. Johannes Gmeinder in Saarbrücken. Before her studies, she had taken clarinet lessons with Kathrin Schindler, Susanne Erhardt and Alexandra Kehrle. Up to now, she has won two second prizes at the federal competition Jugend musiziert: in 2006 in the category of Clarinet Solo, in 2007 in the category of Piano Chamber Music. In 2007 she received the Encouragement Award of the City of Erlangen (Special Award for the Best Interpretation of Contemporary Music). In 2006 and 2008 she attended master classes with Prof. Klaus at the Detmold Summer Academy and with Prof. Norbert Kaiser at the Oberstdorf Music Summer. She was a member of the Marzahn-Hellersdorf Youth Symphony Orchestra as well as of the Berlin State Youth Orchestra and the Berlin Youth Chamber Orchestra.Products
