About Rudolf Doebler
Rudolf Döbler, born in Achern (Ortenau), studied with William Bennett and John Wright at the music academies of Freiburg and Karlsruhe. After working as a solo flutist with the philharmonic orchestras of Dessau and Hagen, he has been substitute solo flutist with the Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra (RSB) since 1993. Rudolf Döbler is a member of 14 Berliner Flötisten and of Ensemble 7211. Together with the Dutch flutist Robert Pot, he is artistic director of the International Flute Days of Staufen. In addition, he coordinates and organizes the educational work of the Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra.
