À propos de Victor Virnot
Victor Virnot was born in Montreuil, France in 1991. He trained at the Conser vatoire de Montreuil, the CRR in Paris, and finally at the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse de Paris, where he specialized in contemporary dance. Since completing his training, he has continued to draw inspiration from various practices such as krump, circus, and the martial arts.
Enthusiastic about exploring diverse choreographic materials and qualities of movement, he has participated in several world premieres and has interpreted works by numerous choreographers in France and abroad such as Emmanuelle Grach, Arthur Harel, Yuval Pick, Philippe Lafeuille, Thierry Escarmant, Christine Bastain, Sébastien Lefrançois, David Drouard, Andrew Skeels, Blanca Li, and La Vouivre. In 2022, he also worked in the field of visual arts in the projects Rhizome at the L'H du Siège contemporary arts center, Contacts with Juliette Baigné in the Basilica of Larchant, and Blanca Li’s latest opera, Dido et Aeneas, with artists Caty Olive and Evy Keller.
