About Michaela Kaune
The Hamburg-born soprano Michaela Kaune has won prizes at the Belvedere Wettbewerb, among others. Since 1997 she is a member of the ensemble of the Deutsche Oper Berlin. The central roles in her repertoire are: Micaela in "Carmen", Agathe in "Der Freischütz", Contessa in "Le nozze di Figaro", Fiordiligi in "Così fan tutte", Eva in "Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg", Marie in "Die verkaufte Braut", and the title role in "Arabella". The artist has performed as a guest at, among other places, the Opéra National de Paris, the Théâtre de la Monnaie in Brussels, at the Semperoper Dresden, at the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich, in the Festival de Radio France, at the Salzburg Festival, the Berliner Festwochen, and at the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival and has worked with conductors such as Zubin Mehta, Christoph Eschenbach, Simone Young, Christian Thielemann, Marek Janowski, Jun Märkl, Kent Nagano, Marc Minkowski, Gary Bertini, Friedemann Layer, Stefan Soltesz, Ingo Metzmacher, Yoav Talmi, and Dennis Russell Davies.Products
