About Alexei Lubimov
Alexei Lubimov, born in Moscow in 1944, is considered one of the most outstanding and original pianists today. He is renowned for his wide repertoire and commitment to musical authenticity. He studied at the Moscow Conservatoire with the legendary Heinrich Neuhaus and Lev Naumov, and first attracted notice with his compelling performances of contemporary music. His repertoire ranges from the Baroque and Classical periods to experimental modern composers. Galina Ustvolskaya wrote to Alexei Lubimov shortly before her death and told him how much she appreciated “your subtle, sublime performance of my work”.Products
