About Ksenia Semenova
Ksenia Semenova, born in Novosibirsk in 1983, graduated with distinction from Moscow State Conservatoire, where she studied in both the Piano Department (with Alexei Nasedkin) and the Early Music Department (with Alexei Lubimov). In 2011 Ksenia began studying early keyboard instruments with Andrea Marcon at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis in Basel, where she is now a teaching assistant. As a pianist, fortepianist and harpsichordist, Ksenia has won numerous prizes at international competitions, among them Musica Antiqua (Bruges 2010), Prague Spring (2012) and First Prize and Grand Prix at the Second International Volkonsky Harpsichord Competition (Moscow 2013). The jury commented that she was “a rare musician, notable for exquisite sound aesthetics and breathtaking technique”.Products
