About Katharina Kuehl
Katharina Kühl studied cello with Christiane Aydintan and Bernhard Gmelin at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hamburg. After completing her studies there, she was a pupil of Frans Helmerson at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz in Cologne, where she received her Master’s Degree. Until 2013, she was a member of the Almandin Quartet, with whom she regularly performed in Germany and abroad. Katharina Kühl has received numerous prizes for her work with the quartet and as a soloist. Kühl received a fellowship from the Oscar and Vera Ritter Foundation from 2005 to 2010. She became a member of the NDR Symphony Orchestra in 2010, and has been one of the directors of the NDR Symphony Orchestra Academy since 2012.Products
