Schott Music invests in start-up OKTAV and expands digital services

Mainz (D), 19 August 2025 – Schott Music is excited to announce a new strategic partnership with Austrian start-up, OKTAV. The collaboration will further strengthen Schott’s digital portfolio and create new and exciting opportunities for music lovers worldwide.
Founded in 2018, OKTAV has grown rapidly as a platform for digital sheet music and as a subscription-based piano e-learning service. In July 2025, Schott Music acquired a stake in the company with a shared view to extend the platform to a wider range of instruments whilst enhancing its e-learning services.
