Description
The trio Pieces of a Dream, less than 40 minutes in duration, is compressed chamber music in the spirit of a classic jazz trio with the objective of improvising on three different dream sequences, underpinned by intense tonal blending of the three instruments. Although its three movements form self-contained pieces, the second movement, Come to Me, is a study of my orchestral work Urbanica and thus links thematically to its respective places of yearning.
