About Ohad Stolarz
Ohad Stolarz, originally from Tel Aviv (Israel), is a choral conductor, composer and arranger of Jewish and Hebrew choral music. He studied choral conducting and historical and contemporary composition at the Hanns Eisler School of Music in Berlin where he has been living since 2013. His first choral music book Sephardic Folk Songs: Eight Settings for Mixed Choir was published in 2019, followed by A Hebrew Choral Songbook for Mixed Choir a Capella. In 2023, he won the 32nd Valentin Becker Prize of the Franconian Singers' Association (Bavaria, Germany). The debut CD of Ensemble Ofaním (Navona Records), which Stolarz produced as project manager, was released in October 2023.
