About Dominique My

Dominique My finished her studies at the Conservatoire National de Musique de Paris in 1980. After that she worked as a repetiteuse at the Paris opera until 1982. She founded Ensemble FA and in 1987 took on its musical direction. She has conducted, amongst others, the Radio France choir and philharmonic orchestra, the Belgian Philharmonic, Ensemble Elision (Australia) and the Stuttgart Südfunk Choir. She works regularly with Ensemble Modern. Beside her duties with Ensemble FA she has received invitations from many festivals, such as: Présences Radio-France, Festival d’Avignon, Musica Strasbourg, lnventionen Berlin, Ars Musica Bruxelles, Festival of Melbourne, Alte Oper Frankfurt, Kölner Philharmonie, Settembre musica Turin. Numerous composers have written piano or harpsichord pieces for her.
