About Dave Holland
Few jazz bassists have influenced the last three decades as much as Dave Holland. His masterful playing formed the rhythmic base for seminal recordings such as Miles Davis’ "In A Silent Way" or "Bitches Brew". Following lengthy tours with Herbie Hancock and his quartet, Dave Holland recorded his second solo album, "Ones All", for Intuition and successfully presented his solo repertoire in concert around the world. Amongst his many collaboration projects, his work with Mino Cinelu and Kevin Eubanks for the World Trio is a special highlight. He also recently appeared with the mastermind of Oregon, Ralph Towner, for the first time in twenty years on an album by the young saxophonist Andy Middleton entitled "Nomad's Notebook".Products
