About Alexei Vinogradov
Alexei Vinogradov (born 1946) has been principal conductor of the Moscow Contemporary Music Ensemble since 1991, and was responsible for many of the group’s numerous recordings, concert tours, and first performances of new works. Vinogradov studied musicology and conducting at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow, where he was the only conducting student of Kirill Kondrashin. Immediately after completing his studies in 1976, Vinogradov was appointed musical director of the opera in Minsk. In 1980, he became chief conductor of the Moscow Classical Ballet Orchestra.Products
