Dominique’s musical journey began from an early age studying classical guitar. Born and brought up in Trinidad and Tobago, she spent her youth playing at her local church, writing calypsos for the annual school calypso competition and composing music for drama productions. She also played cello pan in the school’s steelpan orchestra for a brief period. 

The biography of a national hero: Turing by Anno Schreiner will make its debut in the Nuremburg Opera house on November the 21st, a production directed Jens-Daniel Herzog. Talking cats, living teddy bears and flying fish - quite normal! At least in Toshio Hosokawa's children's play Your Friends From Afar (German original title “Deine Freunde aus der Ferne”). It will be performed in Germany for the first time on 3 March 2024. Members of the SWR Symphony Orchestra will perform the German premiere together with narrator Rainer Strecker at the Staatsgalerie Stuttgart.
