Zum 75. Geburtstag (2000) hatte ich Pierre Boulez ein feuillet d’album nur für Solostimme auf das Gedicht monde des grossartigen Dichters Philippe Jaccottet geschickt, der mit Pierre Boulez den gleichen Jahrgang teilt. Es war nun für mich reizvoll, 15 Jahre später, aus Anlass des 90. Geburtstags, auf das gleiche Gedicht zurückzugreifen, es erneut als Ausgangspunkt für eine geburtstägliche Sprach- und Klangkomposition zu nehmen, Dichter und Komponist enger aneinander zu binden, zu paraphrasieren.
