Aged 15, Jean Deroyer began his studies at the Conservatoire Nationale Supérieur de Musique in Paris. Since graduating, he has gone on to establish himself as one of the leading interpreters of contemporary repertoire in France. Next to his collaboration with ensembles for contemporary music he is conducting among others BBC Symphony Orchestra, Orchestre de chambre de Lausanne, Orchestre Philharmonique de Monte-Carlo, Orchestre National de France and Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France. Jean Deroyer is Music Director of Ensemble Court-Circuit and the Principal Guest Conductor of Ensemble Basse Normandie.
