Description

Scent of the Green Mango is one of a series of my works named after tropical Asian plants. This work was conceived in 1998 but finished it only recently. In this work I show the sensitivity, particularity and complexity of a musician of South Chinese origin. The work also reveals my preference for the comparison of shadow and colour, and my gratitude and sorrowful feelings towards nature for granting to human beings its refreshing fragrance. Ye Xiaogang
