About Tamara Lukasheva
Tamara Lukasheva comes from Odessa, Ukraine and lives in Cologne. She is a virtuoso improvising singer (with an enormous range) as well as a composer and pianist. She moved to Germany in 2010 to study jazz at the Hochschule for Music in Cologne and later continued her studies in Bern, Switzerland. She was a member of BuJazzO (the German National Youth Jazz Orchestra) and has worked with trumpet player Matthias Schriefl. She founded her own quartet in 2016 and has won the “Neuer deutscher Jazzpreis” and an award for big band composition. In 2017, Lukasheva received the Horst and Gretl Will scholarship from the city of Cologne. She has worked with the pianist Vadim Neselovsky since 2019, and currently has a new solo program with voice and piano.Products
