About Stephan Micus

The renowned German composer and multi-instrumentalist Stephan Micus has worked intensively with musical traditions and techniques from around the world for the last 20 years. He brought back a great number of instruments whose existence was previously unknown in the West from study trips to Japan and India. Micus presents these in his CDs in a completely new environment, whereby he refrains entirely from the use of electronic aids.
