About Ludger Bruemmer
Ludger Brümmer is one of the leading composers of electronic music of his generation in the realm of computer music. His central fields of activity are spatial sound, physical models and granular synthesis. In addition, he generates media compositions with audiovisual content. From 2003 to 2017 he was director of the former ZKM | Institute for Music and Acoustics and from 2017 to January 2022 director of the ZKM | Hertz-Labor. He is professor for composition for digital media at the Musikhochschule Trossingen.
Ludger Brümmer has been awarded the German Record Critics' Honorary Award 2024.
