About Helen Bledsoe
American flutist Helen Bledsoe has lived in Europe since 1994. She has degrees from Indiana University, Bloomington and the Amsterdam Conservatory. She also studied classical South Indian music in Bangalore. First prize winner of the Texas Flute Society, Banff Concerto, and Gaudeamus Interpreters’ Competitions, followed by an international career as a soloist and chamber musician. Bledsoe teaches at the Conservatoy of Bremen (Hochschule für Künste) and publishes articles in special interest magazines. Member of musikFabrik since 1997.www.helenbledsoe.com
