About Chris Haigh

Chris Haigh has been a professional fiddle player for over 30 years, with experience covering many different genres. He has played on over 80 albums, working with artists including Alison Moyet, Bob Geldof, All about Eve, Michael Ball, Oumou Sangari, Riverdance, Morcheeba, Diz Disley and
Steps.  His fiddle playing has been heard on many BBC documentary and drama series.

He has written nine other fiddle books, including Exploring Jazz Violin.

His website, www.fiddlingaround.co.uk is probably the most comprehensive and widely visited source of fiddle information on the web.
