Description
I have composed several solo and ensemble works for the shô, and the Ondes Martenot before. However, this is the first time I have used them in orchestral concerti. The image of this work is structured around light and darkness: the ancient mythical world, light and shadow related to history and tradition, artificial light which reflects the state of light of today, and the luminous time-space of the cosmic dimension which is closer to the realm of image; it could be said that that is a world where the ancient and the future are connected through light as in the mobius ring.
