After Johann Sebastian Bach, Martin Stadtfeld now devotes himself to George Frideric Handel: For Händel Variations he arranged famous compositions from different creative phases of the baroque master for piano. The pieces sometimes appear intimate and puristic, as in Laschia ch‘io pianga, sometimes energetic, as in the Sarabande Variations.
