Concerto for Orchestra

Christian Jost makes his contribution to the most modern symphonic genre with the Anton Bruckner Orchestra, proving that contemporary works do not necessarily require exotic instruments. The four movements conjure a picture of urban life. From the bustle of the big city, he takes the listener again and again to points of rest which appear like oases in the desert. This image refers directly to the subject of Jost’s opera Die arabische Nacht.
