The works of Estonian composer Elis Hallik will be published by Schott Music in the future. Born in 1986, the musician has made a name for herself in Europe with her individual style and will bring a new voice to the Schott catalogue.

A look at the end of time: Wilfried Hiller's new work Apocalypse will be premiered at the ION (International Organ Week Nuremberg) music festival on 2 July 2024. In addition to an instrumental ensemble, Johannes Euler as St John of Patmos, Anna-Lena Elbert as a colouratura soprano and the vocal ensemble Die Singphoniker will be performing in the vocal parts.

These volumes are part of the revised and corrected new edition of all 15 symphonies by Dmitri Shostakovich published by Boosey & Hawkes and Sikorski as large format study scores for optimal legibility. All scores and the related orchestral parts have been newly computer typeset, and the orchestral parts are also compatible for performance use with scores in ‘The New Collected Works of Dmitri Shostakovich’.

Easy suite movements are complemented by two easy arrangements from the composer's famous opera and oratorio works.

The anti-anti-opera: Le Grand Macabre by György Ligeti will celebrate its premiere on 28 June 2024 at the Munich Opera Festival at the Bavarian State Opera. The piece thus marks the end of the 2023/2024 season, which began last year on the 100th anniversary of the composer's birth. Kent Nagano will conduct the production, which will be staged by Krzysztof Warlikowski.
