Commissioned to mark the opening of the Sydney Opera House, Prospects has a number of personal associations for Don Banks, not least his thoughts on returning to live in Australia after twenty years in London. He also describes it as ‘a ”view from a point“ – so there is some association for me with Sydney Harbour and its scenic grandeur.’
