Description
In Poetica the solo percussionist and vocalist is accompanied by four percussionists, a pre-recorded trio basso – a strange extension of the percussion becoming independent at times – and electronics which include many sounds of demonstrations recorded in Paris, Tel Aviv and the USA. The piece is a meditation about attempting to find a point of clarity and solace in a harsh and unpredictable and indecipherable reality. It is initiated by breathing and brings to the fore the force of breath. Chaya Czernowin
