À propos de Phillip Sollmann
Phillip Sollmann, born in Kassel in 1974, is a composer, performer, DJ, and artist. He studied Computer Music at the University for Music and Performing Arts in Vienna and currently lives in Berlin. Sollmann has received commissions from groups such as Ensemble Musikfabrik and the Zafraan Ensemble as well as scholarships from Villa Kamogawa in Kyoto and Villa Massimo in Rome. Together with Konrad Sprenger, he developed the Modular Organ System, a large sound installation using conventional organ pipes as well as extended pipes and horns of their own construction.
