À propos de Don Lusher
Nelson Riddle described Don Lusher as "one of England's national treasures". Don was voted "Musician of the Year" in 1976 by the BBC Jazz Society. His long association with the Ted Heath Band included a world tour and several tours of the States, during which he received tuition from William Bradley and Dick Nash. He has worked with many internationally-renowned musicians, including Jack Parnell, the Squadronaires, Maurice Winnick, Henry Mancini, Nelson Riddle and Frank Sinatra. This has rightly earned him popular acclaim.
Don divides his time between running his own big band, quartet and trombone ensemble and performing may solo engagements with orchestras, brass and wind bands and jazz combos. He has given several first performances of major works and is himself an arranger and composer.
