À propos de Christian Thomé

Christian Thomé was born in Düsseldorf and lives in Cologne. One of the most creative German jazz percussionists, he develops his sound concepts in projects of his own and as a member of various ensembles, including groups with Markus Stockhausen, the “Schäl Sick Brass Band”, and projects with singers Marian Sadovska, Inga Lühning, Simin Tander, and Celine Rudolph. Many of his projects use electronics as well as drums and percussion, such as his new band “abstract club”. Thomé teaches jazz percussion at the University of Osnabrück and was a scholarship resident at Istanbul’s Villa Tarabya in 2016-2017.
