À propos de Antonio Pérez Abellán
Antonio Pérez Abellán was born in Elche, Spain in 1969. He studied piano with Manuela Galiana in Elche and with Juan José P. Torrecillas and Ana María Flori at the Óscar Esplá Conservatory in Alicante.
From 1991 to 1993 he studied the contemporary piano repertoire with Alexander Hrisanide at the Sweelinck Conservatory in Amsterdam. Since 1993 he has taught chamber music, piano and electro-acoustic music at the Óscar Esplá Conservatory in Alicante.
In 1998 he started working as a pianist and synthesizer player with Karlheinz Stockhausen and since 1999 has helped in making fair copies of Stockhausen scores using computer. Until the composer’s death, Abellán played only Stockhausen’s music – several works are dedicated to the musician.
