Dans les orchestres et les conservatoires de musique, on a depuis longtemps besoin d’une édition pratique et accessible pour les œuvres pour orchestre à jouer à des auditions. Le contenu de ce volume dérive des suggestions du Deutscher Musikrat et se base sur les enquêtes et les statistiques de la Deutsche Orchestervereinigung e.V. Der Inhalt dieses Heftes geht zurück auf Anregungen des Deutschen Musikrates und basiert auf statistischen Erhebungen der Deutschen Orchestervereinigung e.V. (DOV) sowie auf der langjährigen Berufserfahrung der Herausgeber als Orchestermusiker und Hochschulpädagogen. Auf den gesondert erhältlichen CDs sind die jeweiligen Werkausschnitte (Instrument mit Orchester) enthalten.
