The José Tomás Guitar Anthology
Product Details
Description
The guitarist José Tomás (1934-2001), a pupil of Andrés Segovia, was himself a renowned teacher and mentor to numerous classical guitarists worldwide, including soloists such as David Russell, Ignacio Rodes, amongst many others. He was also known for faithfulness to the original and intuitive fingerings in his arrangements and transcriptions. This anthology includes arrangements from Dowland to Bach and Granados to Ravel, presented here for the first time in an authorized collection based on Tomás's own manuscripts.
