Product Details
Description
Commissioned by Philip Redfern and the Choir of St Michael and All Saints Church, Edinburgh, Tantum ergo portrays the devotional text (‘Therefore only the Sacrament we will worship heads bowed’) through clear homophonic textures coupled with Will Todd’s characteristic rich, close harmonies. Suitable for use as a communion motet, or for more general sacred or concert context, the short work can be accompanied by organ to support the shifting harmonies.
