Erich Wolfgang Korngold’s most famous incidental music for the theatre was composed for Shakespeare’s comedy Much Ado about Nothing. The suite of the same name was performed for the first time in 1920 and was an immediate success. In its five character pieces, reveals charm, wit and deep emotion. Korngold published several movements in various arrangements.
