Description
Stalker is an immersive audio opera during which the audience, equipped with hi-fi headphones, is free to wander around. The adaptation of the famous film by Andrei Tarkowsky transports us to a present which seems to have fallen out of time: the Earth has been invaded by an extraterrestrial civilisation. The contact zone which has been cleared and fenced off by the military becomes the location of fatal paranormal phenomenons. In the centre of this area, a ‘room’ is said to exist and anyone entering the room will be granted a long-cherished wish. A respected professor and a successful writer pay a stalker, a type of mystic guide who is familiar with the zone, to lead them to the chamber.
