Sancta Mater
Product Details
Description
In Sancta Mater, the fifth movement of Kim André Arnesen’s large-scale Stabat Mater, through the poetic Latin text we comfort not only Mother Mary but all parents who have lost their own child, and we cry and we pray with them. The largely homophonic setting sensitively portrays the text and underlying themes through Arnesen’s trademark luscious harmonies and expert voice interaction. Suitable for intermediate choirs.
