Description
The Radetzky March, a classic orchestral march, was the greatest hit composed by Johann I, the father of J. Strauss II. It was written to celebrate the victory of General Radetzky, a Bohemian native who served in the Austrian army, in the suppression of the Northern Italian independence movement.
Since there are various versions that depart from the composer's original version, the whole tone is based on the first draft version. The score was created using Winter's orchestral part as the original. Precision is improved by referring to the original version of Dobringer. It comes with a detailed explanation of the background of the work.
