About Matthias Dobler

Matthias Dobler, born in 1976, took his first piano lessons at the age of six. He successfully took part in many competitions, such as ’Jugend musiziert‘, the talent competi-tion of the Bavarian Radio or the Karl Lang Competition. After finishing school, he attended the Vocational School of Music in Dinkelsbühl and then took up studies at the Music Academy of Nuremberg from which he graduated with two diplomas as a music educator and as a pianist. Since 2003 he has been teaching at a grammar school specializing in the arts in Erding as well as at a private music school in the neighbouring county. He gives concert performances as a solo pianist and keyboarder in bands and has participated in various CD productions.
