Bruno Henze (1900-1978) was a famous composer, guitarist and teacher. He is considered as founder of the „Berliner Gitarrenschule“. This volume of reprints contains pieces for advanced guitarists as well as for pupils and lessons. Henze liked to call himself the „Last Romantic“. So his compositions are suitable to exercise musical expression. Volker Höh has recorded some of the pieces of this volume on CD (Label Naxos).
