Description
The guitarist and composer Heinrich Albert (1870 - 1950) was a major pioneer of the artistic guitarplay, who had a great influence on guitar musical life of the first half of the 20th century. Numerous of his music books and compositions are published at Zimmermann and Robert Lienau. After the work of Heinrich Ablert passed in silence because of new streams, it does now regain his lost attention. Which gives us the reason to reprint some pieces of the 4 editions of the years 1924 - 1926. The works are a compilation of pieces, which Heinrich Albert played mainly at his own concerts. The stylistic range includes pieces with Spanish idiom, with Italian associiations and alos compositions suggesting the tonal language of the time. The level of difficulty is close to advanced. The guitarist Andreas Stevens makes a great effort about the work of Heinrich Albert in form of concerts lectures and articles.
