Megadrums - Layers of Time

From the late 1980s onwards, the world's most famous percussionists came together at regular intervals under the direction of Austrian percussionist and "ambassador of the world language of rhythm" Reinhard Flatischler to give life and rhythm to the highly acclaimed MEGADRUMS projects. During the MEGADRUMS '95 tour, the ensemble recorded "Layers Of Time" live, not in concert, but at the Casino Theater in Zug, Switzerland.
The excellent acoustics of this hall gave all the instruments, especially the gongs, the berimbau etc., a vivid clarity. Recorded with the DOLBY SURROUND SYSTEM, this CD transports the listener into a world of pulsating rhythms and meditative sounds.
