Lost in Translation

The phrase ‘Lost in translation’ normally implies that something has been omitted during the process, but sometimes a translation can also add meaning. Six terms from the spheres of music and dance are ‘translated’ in Elisabeth Naske’s latest work. ‘The essence of music and dance is such that words are not translated in the literal sense, but instead transmitted in a complex and multilayered form.
